What a shock to hear of Catherine’s death! Such a lovely person and good friend. I admired her dedication to her music and her ability to make a living from playing bansuri. She was one of the few of Hariji’s students to look beyond those seemingly addictive classes that in my opinion give a limited interpretation of HCM. i was aware of her knowledge of western music and whatever she did in fusion in Canada was serious.
