Today was a brilliant day of mountain biking. Yes, there was some climbing (up to 3500 meters now) but without all the water and mud into the himalayan desert and full Tibetan culture. We reached Manang, a tourist hub, at about 1 p.m. We are supposed to rest another day here, but really I don’t see the point and prefer to proceed tomorrow as far and as long as I don’t feel altitude sickness. Here in Manang I saw some motorcycles with Kerala registration and went over to chat with them. They had sent their bikes (4 enfield trail bikes and one enfield cruiser) to Gorakpur and had a hell of a ride from besisahar to here.Up until today it really was a Waterfall Park and tough mountain biking across rivulets and torrents- beautiful. Today though was mostly dry and the kilometers passed rapidly.
