A frustrating day. After a promising start, after about 60-70 kms. and only about 30kms. to my destination, Attock, I encountered this sign.
All I could do was to continue cycling and I came to the police/army bandobast.
I didn’t ask what it was up ahead but I had to turn around.
Google showed me an alternative to going all the way back but that was also blocked. You can see all of this on my Strava feed.
Thus I ended up in Wah Cant, not that far from where I had started out in the morning from Islamabad.
Post midnight began a bout of the diarrhea that had plagued me earlier. I had taken Flagyl, but not a complete course. I do believe it to be amebic dysentery.
Before reading up on flagyl etc. I was thinking I must go back to Islamabad and see a doctor. But I was feeling better and decided to continue up G.T. Road (again!).
