I wasn’t sure if I would make it to Mahendranagar (next to the border) today considering it was 127 kms., the first 16 on a wretched road that I had taken yesterday, and it is quite hot. As it was I had an early start and felt good. It was flat too despite the erroneous strava elevation data. I found a nice hotel here with a seriously sincere manager (happy for me to have my bicycle in the room) and my first hot water bath since Pokhara. A haircut and head massage was nice. My body would like a full massage but that would be hard to find here.
Where to go tomorrow? I don’t know if I have ever been so undecided the night before departure………..
